About Us
Candor Industrial Supply was founded by Christy and Justin Alfrey after recognizing a growing gap in the industrial distribution world: while technology was advancing rapidly, customer service was moving in the opposite direction. Our mission is simple — deliver the agility, product depth, and capabilities of a large distributor while maintaining the personal touch, flexibility, and reliability customers expect from a small business.
Candor began in a garage in Rancho Cucamonga, California, in January 2019. After stops in Bloomington and Ontario, we established our corporate office and warehouse in Upland in July 2024. This move merged our Ontario operations with one of our acquisitions and introduced a retail‑style counter for walk‑in customers, along with a significantly expanded inventory of fasteners, tools, safety supplies, and more.
Our growth has been both organic and acquisition‑driven. We added our Tempe, Arizona branch in January 2020 and our Dallas, Texas branch in August 2023. Along the way, we welcomed several respected companies into the Candor family: Moorefield Systems (February 1, 2022), So Cal Bolt & Supply (April 3, 2024), and Connor Fastener (June 27, 2024). Each brought decades‑long legacies in fasteners, tooling, abrasives, and industrial supplies — and a shared commitment to serving customers with integrity.
Today, Candor Industrial Supply operates brick‑and‑mortar locations in four states, proudly serving industrial, construction, OEM, and related markets across Southern California, Phoenix, DFW, and Mid‑Georgia — and beyond.
We differentiate ourselves through an intuitive service offering that includes VMI+ automated inventory maintenance, industrial vending machines, local and remote‑area delivery, discounted expedited freight options, tool repair, sourcing services, and more. As a full‑line industrial distributor, we put customer goals, profitability, and long‑term success at the center of everything we do.
